Two New Teams

The 2023 season was all about MS Dhoni. Everywhere he went, the stadium was yellow. Fans thought it was his last season. They wanted to say goodbye. CSK played well. They reached the final against the defending champions Gujarat Titans.

The 3-Day Final

The final was crazy. Rain stopped play on Sunday. It moved to Monday. Rain came again. The match was shortened to 15 overs. Gujarat batted first. Sai Sudharsan scored 96. They posted 214.

CSK had to chase a revised target. Every ball was tense. It came down to the last over. Mohit Sharma bowled well. 10 runs needed off 2 balls. Ravindra Jadeja was on strike.
